Plamtar-BDDP is tetrabromobisphenol A bis (2, 3-dibromopropyl ether). Acts as a flame retardant. It contains both aliphatic and aromatic bromine with optimal thermal stability. It is usually used with antimony trioxide for maximum flame performance. Compatible with PP and HIPS (at low dosage).
