Plamtar-BTBPIE is a mixture of 1, 2-bis(tetrabromophthalimido) ethane and N, N-ethylene-bis (tetrabromophthalimide). Acts as a flame retardant. It exhibits outstanding thermal and UV stability. Its white color allows use in color-sensitive applications. It is non-blooming thereby allowing its use in critical applications where good heat sealbility is required. Its excellent wet electrical properties makes it ideal for wire and cable applications. Compatible with polyolefins, HIPS, PBT, PET, PC, elastomers, polyesters and polyamides.
