Plamtar-DBDPE is DecaBromo DiPhenyl Ethane. Acts as a flame retardant. It exhibits good thermal stability and high bromine content thus suitable for high temperature applications. It is not acutely toxic and teratogenic and causes no harm to the environment and thus can be used in formulation of products meeting European doxin ordinances. Compatible with styrene polymers, engineering resins and elastomers. Used in wire and cable applications.
