Amine anti-static masterbatch with PP as a carrier resin. It reduces the film’s surface resistivity (increases conductivity) because a hygroscopic, conductive, aqueous layer is formed on the film surface. It discharges static electricity built up by the triboelectric (frictional) action. It complies with FDA and EC food contact standards. Its recommended addition level is 3-5% and for food packaging requirement is less than 3.3%. Also meets with federal test method 4046 (Mil. Spec. B-81705-C) and EIA -564 (HP stress cracking test- acceptable for polycarbonate applications requiring environmental stress crack resistance).
