SiSiB® PC2000

Bis (3-triethoxysilylpropyl) tetrasulfide. It acts as a coupling- and curing agent. Exhibits improvement in the reinforcing capability of fillers including silica, silicates and clay. Also improves crosslinking network properties and flex life. Provides compatibility with non-black pigments. Shows good heat aging and increased modulus. Produces polysulfidic cross-links at cure temperatures. Replaces cross-links broken during cure, resulting in reversion resistant, and with proper compounding, reversion free compounds. Improves E.G., heat generation and crack growth. Offers accelerator activity in rubber compounds, better load bearing and reduced water swell. Possesses abrasion-, cutting-, aging- and chunking resistance. Soluble in chlorinated hydrocarbons, cetonitrile and dimethysulfoxide. Used in footwear, rolls, mechanical molded goods, hose, solid tires, flat- and V belts.
