Vinyldimethylethoxysilane. It acts as an adhesion promoter, coupling- and crosslinking agent. Exhibits compatibility with sulfur, peroxide cured rubber, polyester, polyolefin, styrene and acrylics. Copolymerizes with ethylene for moisture induced coupling of polyethylene. Also compatible with vinyl silicone fluid and silicone rubber. Used for surface treatment of mineral fillers in plastics.
