HYBON® 2001

HYBON® 2001 by PPG Industries is a continuous filament, single-end strand roving glass fiber grade. Acts as a reinforcing agent. It consists of glass filaments honed with a multi-compatible sizing into a single, splice-free strand. Each package is in a wrap film with each pallet stretch wrapped to protect the fiber glass roving from dirt and moisture. Exhibits excellent unwinding performance & transfer from package to package, consistent tex control and surface sizing system. Possesses single-end roving that is catenary-free and abrasion resistant. Offers rapid, complete & consistent wet-out and saturation with low resin demand during subsequent processing. It is designed for polyester, vinyl ester and epoxy resin systems. HYBON® 2001 can be used in filament winding, pultrusion, weaving and non-woven fabric applications. It is Germanischer Lloyd (GL) certified.
