Roving 6428

Roving 6428 by PPG Industries is a formulated for use with unsaturated polyester resin systems in spray-up applications, and centrifugal casting of pipes. Combines good chopping with an excellent wet through and a medium fast wet out. Flat fiber bed guarantees a rapid and complete wet out and a minimum of roll out. Highly suitable for use in centrifugal casting moulding and certain other processes such as filament winding where a combination of chopped roving and other products are used. Offers good chopping performance without significant fouling, allowing long run times. Roving 6428 provides good clean cutting and bobbin unwinding, good impregnation, minimal air entrapment, high mould conformity.
