PREADD AS 534

Antistatic masterbatch with PP as the carrier polymer. It is developed for cast-PP nd BOPP films. It is based on a combination of fast and slow migrating additives. Like all migrating antistatic additives, it may also affect the printing, heat sealing and bonding of the film. The addition level of PREADD AS 534 should be tested in advance for the desired antistatic effect with the polymer used. It is approved for use in contact with foodstuffs according to FDA regulations as long as the dosage level of PREADD AS 534 is less than 1.6 % and according to BgVV regulations as long as the dosage level is less than 2.5 %. Its dosage rate is 0.5-2.5%.
