Calcium carbonate. Can improve opacity or whiteness, act on the viscosity of finished products and offer low abrasiveness as well as an average specific weight. Provides a buffering effect through their alkalinity and can, as in the manufacturing of plastics, improve productivity. Used in plastics, plastic style PVC, rigid PVC, PVC film, other thermoplastics, masterbatch, polyamide, SMC, BMC, ZMC, polyester resin for swimming pools, polyamide, polyethylene, ABS, polyester and plastisol.
