JADEWIN UV 3940 by Qingdao Jade New Material Technology is a 1,3-2,4-Di-p-methylbenzylidene sorbitol. Acts as a nucleating agent. Exhibits increased clarity, lower haze, improved gloom & surface smoothness. Offers faster molding cycles, increased flexural modulus, heat distortion temperature and tensile strength. It disperses completely as it is organic in nature and melt well during normal process. It is non-toxic shows less dimensional variances in molded parts. Suitable for injection molding, blow molding, film or sheet extrusion process. Can be added directly to polyolefins powder. Used in plastics.
