JADEWIN 3988 by Qingdao Jade New Material Technology is a 1,3-2,4-Di-p-methylbenzylodene sorbitol. Acts as a clarifying/nucleating agent. Provides better transparency, organoleptics, processability and nucleation capability than previous generation clarifying agents. Offers superior aesthetics, highest clarity, glossiness & suface smoothness. Polypropylene (PP) clarifies with this grade gives an excellent combination of toughness, flexibility, rigidity, moisture barrier, chemical resistance, heat resistance, higher stiffness & heat distortion temperature and suitability for food contact. It does not affect the taste of contained foods or liquids, so it is a better choice for food contact or odor sensitive applications compared to other conventional clarifying agents. Used in injection molding of thermoplastics. JADEWIN 3988 is listed in AICS, DSL, EINECS, IECSC, ENCS, ECL, TSCA and PICCS.
