JADEWIN UV326

JADEWIN UV326 by Qingdao Jade New Material Technology is a 2-(5-Chloro-2H-benzotriazol-2-yl)-6-(1,1-dimethylethyl)-4-methylphenol. Acts as strong ultraviolet (UV) light absorber (in the 300~400 nm region). Exhibits high degree of photo-stability (photochemical energy absorbed in the ultraviolet region is dissipated as thermal energy). Offers greater absorption of longer wavelengths, better compatibility with polyolefins, lower volatility, and suppressed ionization of the phenolic grouping in comparison to JADEWIN UV234. Is less affected by alkalinity, is less likely to discolor with metals, and has less effect on metal driers and metal catalysts due to the higher dissociation constant of JADEWIN UV326 (approximately 13 as compared with 11.7 for JADEWINUV234- in 80% aqueous dioxane). JADEWIN UV326 by Qingdao Jade New Material Technology is widely used in PP, PE, polybutylene and polyesters. Can be used in combination with phenolic & phosphite antioxidants, and HALS to optimize performance in outdoor use. Listed in AICS, DSL, IECSC, EINECS, ENCS, ECL, PICCS and TSCA. Is recommended for use at levels of 0.2~1.0% , depending on the application.
