Reaxis® C218

Dibutyltin dilaurate. Acts as an organo-tin catalyst. It is stable along with good balance of pot life and cure. Possesses an incompatibility with strong oxidizing agents, strong acids and strong bases. Used mainly for polyurethane polymers. Can also be used in catalysis of isocyanate/alcohol reactions, silicone condensations (e.g. RTV resins), silane modified polyethylenes as well as esterification and transesterification reactions. Recommended to be used at concentrations ranging from 0.01-1.0 wt% at 160-260 °C.
