Reaxis® C225

Tetrabutyltin stannoxane. Acts as an organotin catalyst. Has higher catalytic activity compared to other grades of DBTL, due to significantly higher tin content. Used mainly in polyurethane polymers. Can be used in catalysis of isocyanate/alcohol reactions, esterification and transesterification reactions, as well as silicone condensations (e.g. RTV resins). It is also used in silane modified polyethylenes. Recommended to be used at concentrations ranging from 0.01 - 1.0 wt%.
