Dibutyltin mercaptoester. Acts as an organometallic catalyst. It provides for more of a delayed action cure and enhanced hydrolytic stability compared to organotin carboxylates. Possesses an incompatibility with strong acids, strong bases and oxidizing agents. Used in the synthesis and curing of polyurethanes.
