SAFOAM® P

It acts as an endothermic (heat absorbing) chemical nucleating and foaming agent. It is a free-flowing, non-dusting powder with excellent dispersion. It has special polymeric surfactants, which reduce cell size in direct-gas applications using hydrocarbon gases, CFC, HCFC, CO2, NO2, or any combination of the above. It can be used for the creation of cells in injection molding and in medium-density extrudate. It can be dispersed into liquid foaming agents, color compounds and plastisols. Recommended for any thermoplastics or thermoset material that reaches the decomposition temperature during processing and is not moisture-sensitive. It complies with FDA good manufacturing practices (GMPs) 21 C.F.R. Part 110.
