Styrene-glycidyl methacrylate copolymer. Acts as a compatibilizer to bond together dissimilar polymers used in toughened, filled and blended compounds. Also acts as adhesion promoter in a variety of other applications. Promotes the emulsification of dispersed phase to enhance mechanical properties. Eases the processing on compounding operations. Used in compounding of PS-based resins (HIPS, GPPS, ABS, etc.) with PC, PET, PBT, or nylon, chain extender of ABS, PET for recycling and coupling agent for glass fiber filled ABS and HIPS compounds.
