Maleic anhydride functionalized acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer. Acts as an adhesion promoter, compatibilizer and coupling agent. Promotes the emulsification of dispersed phases to enhance mechanical properties. It bonds together immiscible polymers used in toughened, filled and blended compounds. Used for flame retardant ABS, glass fiber and mineral filler. Also suitable for compounding of PA with ABS and PC with ABS. The recommended dosage is 5-10% based on the total weight of the blend and recommended temperature is 235°C.
