Rhenogran® BCA-40/IIR (GE 2012)

Rhenogran® BCA-40/IIR (GE 2012) by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is a curing activator for halogenated rubber. It is a blend of 40 % metal chlorides, 60 % elastomer binder (IIR) and dispersing agents. It also acts as a vulcanization activator in CR and BR. It is used to activate cross-linking in resin cure systems in butyl rubber. It offers rapid absorption and excellent dispersion in the rubber. It is suitable for manufacturing bladders and curing bags based on IIR in combination with the resin/ZnO masterbatch Rhenogran® PCZ-70/IIR. Recommended dosage level of Rhenogran® BCA-40/IIR (GE 2012) is 1-4 phr. It has a shelf life of 2 years.
