Rhenogran® Na2CO3-70/CO by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is an acid acceptor and vulcanization activator designed for CO and ECO. It acts as an acceptor for the hydrochloric acid released during vulcanization and therefore activates cross-linking. It is used in combination with vulcanization systems based on bisphenol derivatives or organic phosphonium compounds. It contains CO as a polymeric binder. Recommended dosage level is 5-20 phr. It has a shelf life of 1 year.
