Rhenogran® Retarder E-80 by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is a retarder for natural- and synthetic rubber. It retards the onset of cure without considerably extending the total curing time. It is used with sulfenamide or thiazole accelerators to improve processing safety, leaving the properties of the vulcanizates generally unchanged. It contains EPDM as a polymeric binder. It is designed for the production of tires, conveyor belts, shoe soles, molded and extruded technical rubber articles. Rhenogran® Retarder E-80 has a shelf life of 2 years.
