SABOSTAB® UV 229 50PP

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by Sabo
SABOSTAB® UV 229 50PP 50PP by Sabo is a light stabilizer blend in concentrated form. It has synergistic performance with high molecular weight HALS and UV absorbers. This product imparts superior solubility and compatibility with polyolefins, for low VOC/FOG requirements and fewer problems relating to exudation (blooming) than other low molecular weight HALS. This proprietary blend outperforms other HALS in polyolefin substrates in terms of color stability, gloss retention and property retention. It provides easy handling and dosing in polymer processing operations. SABOSTAB® UV 229 50PP is used in PP film and tape, PP and TPO injection molding applications (including both unfilled and mineral filled grades). Its applications include PP & TPO automotive exterior and interior parts, low total carbon emission, TPO roofing membranes and PP outdoor furniture. Recommended dosage for this product is 0.2 to 3%, depending upon the application. It is listed on the ECL, EINECS, ENCS, IECSC, PICCS, NZIoC, NECI, AICS, DSL and TSCA chemical inventories. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
