SABOSTAB® UV 40

SABOSTAB® UV 40 by Sabo is a polymeric hindered amine light stabilizer for plastics. It provides exceptional UV- and long-term thermal stability in polyolefins. This additive possesses low volatility, excellent resistance to extraction and minimal pigment interaction. Its narrow polydispersity ensures consistent performance in use and processing. SABOSTAB® UV 40 is compatible with PE (injection molding, film, and tape), PP (injection molding, film, and fibers), TPO, polyamide fibers, flexible and rigid PVC, styrenic TPE and polyurethanes. It is also recommended for use in systems containing mineral fillers and/or carbon black. It is suitable for both thick and cross section applications. Recommended dosage is 0.05-1%, depending upon the application. It possesses extensive food contact clearances. It is listed on the ECL, ENCS, IECSC, PICCS, NZIoC, AICS, DSL, TCSI and TSCA chemical inventories. It has a shelf life of 5 years.
