SABOSTAB® UV 91 50PE

SABOSTAB® UV 91 50PE by Sabo is a 50% active concentrate of the hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) SABO®STAB UV 91 in a polyethylene carrier resin. It is a mixture of 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidin-4-yl-hexadecanoate and 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidin-4-yl-octadecanoate. This additive exhibit color stability, gloss retention and property retention. It offers superior solubility and compatibility with polyolefins, for fewer problems relating to exudation (blooming) than other low molecular weight HALS. SABOSTAB® UV 91 50PE is particularly suited for use in PP film, tape, and injection molding applications as well as in TPO. Its applications include PP and TPO automotive exterior and interior components, TPO roofing membranes, and PP outdoor furniture. It's typical addition levels range from 0.1 to 3%, depending upon the application. It is listed on the ECL, ELINCS, ENCS, IECSC, PICCS, NZIoC, TCSI, AICS, DSL and TSCA chemical inventories. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
