SABO® STAT ASE

SABO® STAT ASE by Sabo is 2,2'-(octadecylimino)bisethanol. Acts as anti-static agent and dispersing agent. It is an ethoxylated alkylamine which is useful and effective as an internal even under moderate humidity conditions. Has good thermal stability and low volatility to facilitate use of higher processing temperatures. SABO® STAT ASE provides longer term anti-static effect as compared to glycerol monostearate. Imparts synergistic performance when used in combination with glycerol monostearate. It is soluble in acetone, isopropanol, aromatic solvents but insoluble in water. Used for polyolefins (PE, LLDPE, PP) and styrenic polymers (ABS, SAN). It is suitable for pigments in plastic masterbatches and compounds as well as for food contact applications. SABO® STAT ASE typical addition levels range from 0.1-3%, depending upon the substrate, processing conditions and the application as well as 2% in PE or PP wax as dispersing agent for pigments. Its typical addition levels range from 0.1 to 0.3% in polyolefin and 1.5 to 3% in styrenic polymers. It is listed on the ECL, EINECS, ENCS, IECSC, AICS, PICCS, TSCA, TCSI, DSL and NZIoC chemical inventories. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
