55 % solution of tetrabutylammonium hydroxide in water. Acts as a catalyst. It gives enhanced reaction rates and yields. It produces less production waste and also reduces energy costs. It can be used as strong organic base catalyst and or combined as phase transfer catalyst and pH-adjuster in many organic transitions used in the polymers industry.
