LINXIDAN™ LX4530

LINXIDAN™ LX4530 is a silane-grafted polyolefinic coupling agent. It improves the mechanical properties of fiber and mineral-filled compounds, and improves dispersion in polyolefin master batches and flame retardant compounds. It helps in successfully transferring the load from the polymer to the fiber, which ensures a strong interface. LINXIDAN™ LX4530 is specifically designed to improve compatibility and mechanical properties of polymer compounds. Its use in Wood-Plastic Composites provides increased tensile strength, impact strength and flexural modulus, and reduced moisture absorption. The synergistic use of a lubricant (LUBIDAN™ lubricants) is recommended for improving the extrusion quality of the boards, prevent edge tear, the sharpness of details found on the board’s profile, and also ensure a consistent and smooth board surface. Contrarily to conventionally maleated polyolefin coupling agents, LINXIDAN™ LX4530 does not interfere with metal stearates used as lubricants.
