VULCOFAC® 13PDM by Safic-Alcan is a 1, 1’-(1, 3-phenylene) bis-1H-pyrrole-2, 5-dione. It acts as a curing agent for elastomers. It can be used in the production of heavy-duty tires for construction vehicles, heavy-duty belts & hoses, and “o” rings. It is suitable for the impregnation of fiberglass and graphite for aerospace (BMI composites). It is recommended for electrical insulation employing wire enamels and laminate binders or epoxy laminates that are used in printed circuits. The shelf life of VULCOFAC® 13PDM is 2 years.
