DABS by Sasol is an anionic surfactant. It is sulfonate of heavy alkylate, bottom of alkylation process of benzene with linear olefins. It is a blend of sulfonic acids, polyalkylate sulfonates and disulfonic acids. It mainly contains dialkylbenzene sulfonates. DABS is used in textile, plastics and rubber additives.
