POLYBOND® 3000 polymer modifier by SI Group is used as a high efficiency coupling agent for glass-filled polypropylene, particularly long glass fiber applications. This additive also acts as a compatibilizer for polypropylene/polyamide blends giving enhanced hydrolytic stability and strength properties. POLYBOND® 3000 polymer modifier offers higher coupling efficiency vs. lower functionality products which further reduces raw material costs. Its tie-layer component also offers improved compatibility between multilayer polar and non-polar materials. It is FDA approved.
