SILMAFLAME AT1687

SILMAFLAME AT1687 by Silma is a halogen-free, flame retardant masterbatch on PET carrier for use in PET applications and especially for PET fibers. This non-migrating grade exhibits meltable properties making it suitable for foam production. It is used as an ingredient for compounding because it is very easy to disperse. It is suitable for processing by injection molding and extrusion. It is designed for use in combination with other plastic additives like color masterbatches, specific antioxidants and UV stabilizers. The addition of 6-20% of SILMAFLAME AT1687 on monofilaments or fibers gives L.O.I. upper than 26. It has a shelf life of 1 year.
