SILMALINK PRO 453 by Silma acts as a compatibilizer or/and crosslinker in many reactive applications to build a network copolymerization between organic CH groups and organic/inorganic OH groups. It is a vinyl functional silane with methoxy groups in liquid form. It is suitable for XLPE cables and pipes as a crosslinker in presence of initiators. In case of formulation with fillers like MDH, ATH and various number of silicates with the presence of OH groups, it can create a chemical bond with them during the crosslinking process. It is also used as a chemical bridge between organic CH groups and organic/inorganic OH groups in presence of accelerators like peroxide and sulfur. It is suitable in various compounding processes like XLPE, crosslinked EVA and rubbers. Recommended dosage level is 0.3-3%. SILMALINK PRO 453 has a shelf life of 6 months.
