SILMAPROCESS AX1910

SILMAPROCESS AX1910 by Silma is a processing aid, viscosity reducer, abrasion & mar-resistant and hydrophobicity improver. It works as an anti-scratch, slipping agent, external lubricant and surface modifier in extrusion or injection molding during the crosslinking process. It is a high molecular weight functionalized polysiloxane masterbatch dispersed in plastomer which reacts during the crosslinking process of a wide range of rubbers. It provides a real Si-copolymer network as EVA-Si, NBR-Si, SBR-Si, TPV-Si, XLPE-Si (also with silane crosslinker ) and other elastomers cured by peroxide, sulfur and/or metal catalysts, if used during the crosslinking process. It reduces the melt viscosity & torque with benefits for the output, stability and compound homogeneity when used in the compounding process. It could be used at dosage level from 1-20%. SILMAPROCESS AX1910 has a shelf life of one year.
