Algoflon® L101-1 by Syensqo is polytetrafluoroethylene-based abrasion-, tear-, wear-, deformation-, flame- and smoke resistance agent. It possesses very high specific surface area, low molecular weight and good blend ability. This product exhibits outstanding rub-, scratch-, chemical- and temperature resistance. Also exhibits low surface energy, low coefficient of friction and increased processing rate. Algoflon® L101-1 possesses release-, anti-stick- and lubricating properties. It is suitable for thermoplastics and elastomers. Applications include gaskets, O-rings, shaft seals, drive belts, window/door seals, window wipers, pump heads, gears, valves, bushings, bearings, slides, other wear components, office equipments, appliance wear components, FDA compliant roller covers, conveyor belts, roller covers, transmission seals and wire & cable jacketing. It complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.1550.
