Winnofil® S

Winnofil® S by Solvay is a functional filler based on an ultrafine, surface-treated precipitated calcium carbonate. Its hydrophobic surface coating enables it to be readily dispersed and enhances the properties of filled plastics & elastomers.

• Winnofil® S improves impact resistance & processing properties in rigid & flexible PVC particularly at low temperatures.
• It reduces the temperature of transition between the tough and brittle states.
• It can be used to replace or supplement organic impact modifiers.
