SONGNOX® 2246

2,2'-Methylenebis(4-methyl-6-tert-butylphenol). Acts as a primary antioxidant for organic polymers. Effective in preventing thermal oxidation of ABS, PE, PP and ethylene vinyl acetate. Can be used as polymerization stopper, oxidation inhibitor for fats oils as well as paraffin wax and as a polymerization inhibitor. Antioxidant in ABS, rubber, latex carpet backing and specialty olefin applications. Exhibits low volatility and migratiom in POM and ABS.
