SONGSORB® 7120

SONGSORB® 7120 by Songwon is benzoate-based UV absorber for plastics. It absorbs ultraviolet radiation and through a reversible chemical rearrangement, dissipates the energy as heat. This additive provides better initial color than benzotriazoles. SONGSORB® 7120 exhibits a synergistic effect in combination with HALS. It can be used in combination with phenolic as well as phosphite antioxidants, and HALS for thermal and light stabilization in outdoor use i.e, TPO bumper application. Recommended for polypropylene, polyethylene, PVC, EVA, unsaturated polyester, ABS and AS.
