SONGXTEND® 1301

SONGXTEND® 1301 by Songwon is an antioxidant solution and polymer stabilizer. It is specially designed to protect new polymeric flame retardants (pFR). It maintains better molecular weight and color of XPS containing pFR. SONGXTEND® 1301 is used in XPS, EPS and XEPS applications. The typical addition level is 0.3 to 0.5% in an XPS formulation containing pFR, 0.2 to 0.4% in a XEPS formulation containing pFR and 0.15 to 0.3% in an EPS formulation containing pFR.
