STEPFAC™ 8171 by Stepan Company is an acid form of phosphate ester. It is an excellent hydrotrope for non-ionic surfactants in alkali cleaners and functions well in high electrolyte systems and finds application in a variety of agricultural metal working and textile applications. STEPFAC™ 8171 is recommended for use in elastomers.
