STEPOSOL® MET-10U by Stepan Company is a low HLB surfactant and powerful solvent. This naturally-derived, non-ionic surfactant is an unsaturated, short chain di-substituted amide manufactured using Nobel Prize-winning metathesis technology. It exhibits excellent solvency, heat & hydrolytic stability and low VOC content. It can be used in formulations ranging from pH 3–12 while achieving viscosities from water-thin to gel. It is environmentally friendly due to low vapor pressure, high boiling point and 75% biorenewable carbon index (BCI). It provides excellent cleaning performance. STEPOSOL® MET-10U is recommended for use in plastics.
