STRUKTOL® HT 207

STRUKTOL® HT 207 by Struktol is a processing additive for natural & synthetic rubber processing. This mixture of soaps and fatty acid esters also acts as an external lubricant and release agent in non-polar elastomers. It shows improved extrusion rates, reduced mill roll sticking, reduces friction and tackiness. STRUKTOL® HT 207 softens readily and can easily be incorporated at temperatures above 65°C. It is strongly adsorbed to fillers, supports filler dispersion and breaking up of filler agglomerates leading to improved compound homogeneity as well as reduced compound viscosity. In NBR, the internal lubrication is to the fore resulting in a reduction of compound viscosity. It has been developed from environmental aspects and contains no heavy metals. Recommended dosage level is 2-5 phr. It is FDA approved. The shelf life of this product is 24 months.
