STRUKTOL® WB 212

STRUKTOL® WB 212 by Struktol is an emulsion plasticizer, dispersing and processing additive. It is a blend of high-molecular weight, aliphatic, fatty acid esters and condensation products, bound to chemically inert fillers. It is used for powdered materials and can shorten the mixing time by faster filler incorporation. STRUKTOL® WB 212 prevents sticking of elastomers and compounds to rotors and rolls. In highly loaded compounds, it reduces the risk of scorching. It possesses good plasticizing properties and improved mold release. It is used for rubber compounds and injection & transfer molding. The water content may cause a slight activation in compounds based on chlorosulfonated polyethylenes or equivalent polymers. The recommended dosage level is 1 to 2% of the total batch weight. The shelf life for this product is 2 years.
