STRUKTOL® Zinc Stearate VG

STRUKTOL® Zinc Stearate VG by Struktol is a lubricant, densifying and partitioning agent. It is manufactured from a high quality vegetable fatty acid with a low iodine value in a tightly controlled production operation that guarantees product uniformity. It is used extensively in color concentrates as a dispersion aid. It improves processing of the styrenics and polyesters, and to a lesser extent with the olefins. In rubber applications, it functions as an elastomer processing aid and release agent. STRUKTOL® Zinc Stearate VG provides clarity required in polystyrene resins. The recommended dosage level is 0.5% in most plastic applications. It is sanctioned by FDA. It meets the test requirements for USP certification. The shelf life of this product is 2 years.
