Syndant -972 by Synchemer is a brominated flame retardant. It is a 1,1'-(2,2-propanediyl)bis[3,5-dibromo-4-(2,3-dibromo-2-methylpropoxy)benzene] available in white powder form. Syndant -972 is suitable for polystyrene foam, polyolefin, thermoplastic elastomer, textile finishing and plastic coated double-sided leathers.
