ChemFlexx™ NP 920

Alkyl sulfonic acid phenyl ester. It shows good compatibility with a large number of polymers such as thermoplastic polyurethane (PU), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), natural rubber (NR), styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR/BR), isobutylene-isoprene rubber (IIR), acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber (NBR) and chloroprene rubber (CR). It has an outstanding resistance to weathering as well as light, good dielectric properties that give outstanding weld ability at high frequencies which lead to shorter cycle times. It is slightly yellowish, clear and environmentally friendly liquid with an outstanding gelling capacity with many polymers, resulting in lower processing temperatures and shorter processing times. It is easy-to-process and used in the manufacture of swimming pool covers, shower curtains, office film, welding film, adhesive tape, film for electrical insulation, extrusion profiles, injection molding, tents, rain-wear, bath mats, calendaring film for the automotive industry, structures as well as parts of buildings and expanded film.
