PEPTON® 66

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by Thomas Swan
PEPTON® 66 by Thomas Swan is a peptizer based on 2,2'-dibenzamido diphenyl disulphide blended with a synergistic activator, inert carrier and organic dispersants. It is dust-free and slightly characteristic in odor.
  • It catalytically reduces the viscosity of natural rubber and unsaturated synthetic elastomers during compounding in open or internal mixers.
  • Its physical form is suitable for automatic weighing and feeding systems.
  • It increases the mastication efficiency of open and internal mixers and therefore enhances compounding productivity by reducing both power consumption and mixing time.
  • Its recommended dosage level is 0.1-0.5 phr for natural rubber and 1.5-3.0 phr for unsaturated synthetic elastomers.
  • PEPTON® 66 has a shelf life of 4 years.
