PowerNox™ 1024 by TinToll (PCC Group) is a 2', 3-bis [3-(3, 5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl) propionyl] propionohydrazide. It is a metal deactivator and antioxidant. It offers excellent extraction resistant to oil and aqueous media. It can be used as the primary antioxidant or can be used in combination with hindered phenolic antioxidants to achieve synergistic performance. It is soluble in methylene chloride, n-hexane, paraffin oil and tetrahydrofuran. It is compatible with PE, PP, cross linked PE, EPDM, elastomers, nylon, PU, polyacetal and styrenic copolymers. PowerNox™ 1024 is suitable for wire and cable applications.
