Polyethylene glycol. Acts as a mold release agent. It is a linear polymer of ethylene oxide containing two terminal primary hydroxyl groups. Offers greater detergency, low odor and solvating power. Remains fluid at higher molecular weights. Forms non-ionic esters on reaction with fatty acids. Suitable for plastics.
