EcoFlame B-51

Tetrabromobisphenol A bis (allyl ether). It acts as an aromatic brominated flame retardant that is especially efficient for EPS and in foam polystyrene. It has an excellent UV stability and styrene solubility for a broad range of uses. The unsaturated end groups provide the unique function of initiating FR performance. It is available in form of white powder and is used at low levels with other flame retardants, such as to provide a synergistic response to fire tests.
